Caveats

I work with the client to meet improve self management skills to meet school performance and daily living goals using an individualized plan based on preliminary assessments.

A cognitive evaluation will mainly focus on the thinking, reasoning and processing. A psycho-social evaluation will include cognitive assessment and address social emotional functioning. A psycho-educational evaluation is a comprehensive assessment that address cognition, achievement, adaptive skills and social-emotional functioning. This type of assessment is also written from a perspective on how areas of weakness may negatively impact learning and functioning in the education setting. The evaluation may take up to 4 hours depending upon the clients level of focus and stamina. 

This assessment is designed for clients 18 years and older. I conduct a comprehensive evaluation to include client input along with assessments to address developmental history, cognition, academic/achievement, visual motor skills, behavior and social-communication. The evaluation may take up to 4 hours.

This form of therapy will rely on the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis. Clients will be assessed and an individualized treatment plan will be developed. ABA therapy is used to teach skills and reinforce behaviors the client and/or parent would like to increase. 

This assessment is designed for children age 5 years old to 17 years old. I conduct a comprehensive assessment to include parent input, teacher input, direct observations and direction assessments. Other elements of the assessments will address developmental history, cognition, academic/achievement, visual motor skills, behavior and social-communication skills. The direct assessment may up to 4 hours.

Review student's Individualized Education Plan, Section 504 Accommodations Plan to interpret or explain contents of the document. I will provide written recommendations for improvements that will address the student's individualized needs.
